  • How do I enroll my dog in daycare?

In order to sign new dogs up for daycare or boarding, simply fill out our enrollment form. Once we receive your form, we will send you a confirmation email with information on how to get started. We look forward to having your pet at our dog daycare!

  • What vet records do you require?

We require up-to-date records of your dog's Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations along with a NEGATIVE fecal exam result from within the past year. For cats, we require up-to-date Rabies. Give us a call today to get started with our dog daycare and pet boarding services!

  • How old does my dog have to be to come play?

Puppies must be at least eight weeks of age to join our dog daycare programs.

According to Dogster, there are nearly 80 million pet dogs in the United States. Are you looking for a caring, engaging dog daycare option for your pup? Give us a call today to schedule a tour and see why we're a local favorite for pet owners in Milford, CT and the surrounding areas!

  • Can I come and see the facility?

Yes, we welcome you to come and tour the facility via the security cameras located in our main office. Please call our office to arrange a tour of our dog daycare and boarding center in advance. Please leave your dog at home during your tour, as they will not be allowed in the facility.

  • Do you offer second-dog discounts?

No, we do not offer discounts for any additional dogs from the same family, as we are a resort-style facility, providing all-day supervision and structured play to each and every individual dog, rather than isolating siblings from the group. Every dog will be able to enjoy the same experience while at our dog daycare!

  • Do the dogs really sleep through the night?

At night, Bark Avenue Pet House transforms into a peaceful oasis designed for rest and relaxation. We have soft beds and ambient music playing throughout the building. Some dogs may not want playtime to be over when the lights go out, so these dogs will be placed in kennels overnight for their safety. Give us a call today to learn more about how we go the extra mile to make our dog daycare cozy and comfortable for all of our guests!

  • Can I bring raw/refrigerated food?

Yes! When you choose us as your pet boarding center or dog daycare, you may bring any type of refrigerated or frozen food for your pet's stay. We have refrigerators and freezers for storage.

  • Can I pack treats for my pet's stay?

If you are boarding your dog or cat with us, you may include treats in your pet's individually packaged meals. Treats that are not included in the bagged meals will not be given. Give us a call today for any more questions about our dog daycare and boarding center.

  • Are personal items allowed in the play pens?

For everyone's safety, no personal items, such as toys or bedding, are allowed into the facility. To learn more about the toys, beds, and accommodations we have at our dog daycare, contact our helpful team today!
